This tool allows you to validate email address. Validation performs in three steps:
- Syntax Validation
- Domain Validation
- SMTP Account Validation
During Domain Validation step validator checks if a domain of the email address exists and fetches the list of MX records.
During SMTP Account Validation step validator connects to the email domain MX servers and tries to check if the email account exists there.
Note: some servers always return "Valid" response even if they don't have an account. For example yahoo.com accepts any address but replies with "hard bounce" message to from address after the message is sent. The only possible way to validate addresses from such domains is to analyse bounce reports.

As you can see our service is getting more popular and people are trying to spam comments on this page. Our email validation service is Free! And also it provides the log of the communication between the service and recipient SMTP. But there are still some disadvantages of using validation services. 1. You can't validate 100% of addresses without sending a message. 2. You can't validate too many addresses if you don't want to blacklist your IP and harm your deliverability 3. You still need to process bounce responses to clean your list so pre-validation is useless. We strongly recommend to use bounce processing for your email marketing campaigns. Does not work for Yahoo ids and does not support quoted strings, International Domain Names and other email features we are now used to see everywhere in the net. Unfortunately it does not even report back temporary mailbox failures (greylisting)...

Validator is using this regular expression to validate email format:
^[a-zA-Z0-9 [\\w\\.-]*[a-zA-Z0-9]@[a-zA-Z0-9][\\w\\.-]*[a-zA-Z0-9]\\.[a-zA-Z][a-zA-Z\\.]*[a-zA-Z]$
