Hi all,
After we moved on a new server the validator was not working properly. It was pointing to the wrong DNS address that is why any address was marked as faild on step #2.
Now the validator is fixed and should work fine as before.
Please try it and let us know if it is so.

...maybe you just need to read the note right above the email field which says:
Note: some servers always return "Valid" response even if they don't have an account. For example yahoo.com accepts any address but replies with "hard bounce" message to from address after the message is sent. The only possible way to validate addresses from such domains is to analyse bounce reports.

i tried several emails like:fuckmeohyeah@yahoo.com na similar and they all passed.
maybe is yahoo server, maybe this service sucks |

Yes it is! why it shouldn't? I was coding it a week. Some crazy people overuse the service so we added some limitations. Hope you understand ;) btw. Hi all, landofcash.net is my domain. The "from" email address used is a live address I use for different misc stuff. I don't see any problems using my address in my tool ;) The tool doesn't collect addresses or send spam messages... The main purpouse of the tool is to view the SMTP server responses. The validation is not 100% relaible because the smtp server can accept the address and send a bounce report back later. For more info you can contact me via the forum or support page Thanks Mikhail |

Yes yahoo doesn't allow to validate the address without sending an email. But you can process bounce reports from yahoo and remove dead addresses. |

Yes it is true the tool says Valid for all yahoo emails. The problem is that Yahoo first accepts any email address under yahoo domain and checks if it is a valid address later. So not possible to validate an address whithout sending a message and analyzing the bounce report. |

The tool checks email against the SMTP server. If the server reports "Valid" for any email address then the tool marks it as valid. For example @yahoo.com SMTP accepts any address and later sends back a bounced message.
Just as an example of invalid email try:
dghfhjdsfbs222@hotmail.com

The core functionality is almost ready we do performance improvements. It validates at about 40 - 60k addresses per hour. The goal is 100k per hour!
